» Where we are? How to reach Badia Fiorentina B&B...
Badia Fiorentina, is located between Piazza Della Repubblica, Piazza della Signoria and the Duomo...the best location to visit the city center!If you come by train:
Our bed & breakfast is a 10 minute walk from the train station, Santa Maria Novella (SMN). From the front of the Station you follow Via Panzani that become Via Cerretani in the direction of the Duomo. In Piazza Duomo (facing the front of the Duomo Church) you will see Via Calzaioli to your right. Follow Via Calzaioli and make your third left onto Via Tavolini. Walk one block on Via Tavolini and it will become Via Dante Alighieri. We are at # 12 on the left (1st floor), doorbell Badia Fiorentina.
Or you can take the small electric bus from in front of the station SMN, line # C1, and get off at Piazza Cimatori (buy your bus ticket in the station at the "tabaccheria" before getting on the bus).
Or you can take a taxi directly to our front door (cost approx. 10 €).
If you come by plane:
From the airport of F. Amerigo Vespucci you can catch the bus Navetta that will bring you directly to the railway Station or you can choose a taxi (about 20 €);
If you come by car:
to find our B&B we recommend you to consult maps.google.com and insert our adress (Via Dante Alighieri 12 Firenze) for an itinerary to follow. You can enter in the pedestrian zone but then you must park in a garage or you risk receiving a ticket. When you arrive at our door you can unload your lugguage and we will bring your car at one of our conventioned garage.(cost approx. 30 € all day)
